Episode 2

Moving past 3 Years in Prison and a Homicide Charge

Published on: 22nd February, 2021

This episode, I have my first guest speaker on! Jeff has lived in Michigan his entire life, and shortly after high school was convicted of a homicide charge. However, his story and the circumstances surrounding his conviction are much more extensive than I can put into words here. After Jeff's time in prison, he managed to take control of his life and graduate from the University of Michigan. After enduring many failures, changing his mindset, and taking the time to learn from all his experiences, Jeff is now successful and working in the business and IT field. The ultimate goal of this episode is to show the listener that any barrier is surmountable, regardless of the respective difficulties that may be in the way.

About the Podcast

The Other Side of the Truth
Listen to new perspectives on the Justice and Prison system!
The Other Side of the Truth (TOST) aims to have previously incarcerated persons on the show to share their experiences with the Justice System and the Prison System. Many times, the only perspectives we hear are that of the Media, the Police, and the other institutions that surround us. TOST wants to help change that by giving the individual a voice, letting them come on and explain their story from their point of view.

As a brand new podcast, we are still learning and exploring topics we can cover. If you have any suggestions or ideas for us, please send us an email at sahith@tost.us.
